Teddy Mountain is joining forces with the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, to offer licensed plush and collectibles that will bring the spirit of the national parks to life.
In May, the National Park Foundation announced, together with the Seltzer Licensing Group, plans for multiple licensing partnerships that will combine conservation with consumer products. The royalties from Teddy Mountain products and all officially announced collaborations with the National Park Foundation will directly support America’s national parks for generations to come.
In early 2027, consumers can expect to see Teddy Mountain wildlife plush, including bears, bunnies, bison, and more, as well as destination collectibles, park-specific merchandise, and eco-friendly products.
“This partnership is especially meaningful to me on a personal level,” says Pat Shirkey, President of Teddy Mountain. “My wife and I experienced six wonderful years living in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in the foothills of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where we developed a deep appreciation for the wildlife, natural beauty, and conservation efforts that make our national parks so special. This partnership with the National Park Foundation is a natural extension of values that have been part of our lives and our business for many years. We are honored to help celebrate America’s parks, wildlife, and conservation legacy through products designed to inspire learning, exploration, and lasting memories.”
Shirkey’s comments on Teddy Mountain’s years-long personal connection to the great outdoors reflect the company’s commitment to bringing meaningful plush and collectible products to consumers and national park lovers alike.
