Get ready to dance, play, and learn at The Melon Patch! The new series, coming to YouTube on Sept. 23, will feature Miss Appleberry and her team of co-teachers: Mr. Doodad, the art teacher; Ms. Twist, the dance and movement coach; and Mr. Acorn, the nature teacher.
Each 25-minute episode will be packed with educational activities, like dancing, listening to music, navigating big feelings, and learning about the importance of bath time. The show prepares kids to meet those important developmental milestones by using storytelling, creativity, and interactive play, inviting kids and their caregivers to have fun while learning new things.
Early childhood education expert, Dr. Natascha Crandall, who worked on the show’s curriculum, shares her thoughts on its educational benefits: “The Melon Patch offers children the foundations for lifelong learning and well-being. By using the fundamentals of child development, this show meets children where they are and helps them rise to reach their next milestones with greater ease.”
