Sustainability is making waves in the toy industry, and plushes are at the top of the list.
Teddy Mountain, the global leader in wholesale DIY plush products, is launching ECO Origins. The new line features products made with certified sustainable materials, including all fabrics, stitching, fiber, packaging, and other necessities to make the animal plush collection.
“While there have been numerous attempts at sustainability in similar products, many lack a transformative call to action from an educational and environmental stewardship standpoint,” says Pat Shirkey, President of Teddy Mountain LLC.
The ECO Origins line aims to promote local conservation and environmental sustainability. The new line will offer plush versions of vulnerable, threatened, and endangered animal species. The line features seven new characters, including Sashi the Snow Leopard, Ponya the Panda, and Tortuga the Turtle.
