The Pittsburgh Pirates are partnering with Fred Rogers Productions to bring a night of kindness and community to PNC Park. The two are hitting the field to bring Bucs a post-game experience celebrating the life of Fred Rogers.
The two Pittsburgh-based brands offer out-of-this-park fun with “A Beautiful Night in the Neighborhood.” Guests can watch a post-game Zambelli drone show featuring a tribute to the legacy of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood after the June 27 game.
During the drone show, kids can also see familiar friends from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The event will show images of Mister Rogers and characters from the preschool series, including Daniel Tiger, Katerina Kittycat, O the Owl, and Jodi Platypus.

“The Pittsburgh community is so connected and supportive of each other, largely because of the impact Fred Rogers had on shaping our values. The opportunity to partner with Fred Rogers Productions to highlight those values at PNC Park in front of the best fans in baseball is one we could not pass up,” says Stephen Perkins, executive vice president of Marketing and Fan Engagement for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
“We are thrilled to work with the Pittsburgh Pirates on this exciting show that will bring Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood to life for fans in a unique way. The Pirates are a beloved Pittsburgh institution and a natural partner for us to continue to share the legacy of Fred Rogers with the community,” says Matt Shiels, vice president of Business and Legal Affairs at Fred Rogers Productions.
“A Beautiful Night in the Neighborhood” will take place at 6:40 p.m. following the Pittsburgh Pirates’ and the New York Mets’ final out of the game. Fans can buy tickets and discover more promotions at mlb.com/pirates.
