
There’s a baby boom taking off at Target. The company is rolling out more than 2,000 affordably-priced baby and toddler items, 30% more new offerings than the year before.
More than half of the new products are exclusive to Target, including health and wellness items, accessories, 14 Good & Gather food and snacks, and an assortment of Cloud Island apparel, toys, plush, books, and other gifts. The collection also features items from trending and popular brands like Amara, Pipette, Earth Mama, Ona Renewals, bumbum, Lalo, and more.

In tandem with its new items, Target is also expanding its baby registry initiative. The updated program grants growing families new benefits, from a free welcome kit worth $100 and free returns to exclusive deals on Huggies, Bobbie, and Evenflo. Additionally, new parents will receive a 15% Target coupon that can be used on toys long after the baby arrives.

Baby and toddler is a key category for Target, with a quarter of shoppers buying for their young kids, according to Amanda Nusz, Senior Vice President of Merchandise Essentials and Beauty. Determined to strengthen its hold on the sector, Target priced 66% of its new offerings for under $30, starting at just 79 cents.
