At New York Comic Con (NYCC), Hasbro’s Action Brands panel spotlighted major updates for two of its most iconic franchises — Transformers and G.I. Joe. Fans in attendance got first looks at new figures, preorder details, and the results of this year’s Hall of Fame vote honoring standout characters and creators.
New Transformers Reveals
- Transformers Timelines Optimus Prime and Starscream — These 5-inch samurai-inspired figures convert into an ox cart and a falcon, respectively.
- Transformers Retro G1 Autobot Wheelie
- Transformers Retro G1 Autobot Outback
- Transformers Studio Series Voyager Class Thundercracker
- Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Class Windcharger
Preorders for Retro G1 Autobot Wheelie, Retro G1 Autobot Outback, and Retro G1 Autobot Outback are open. Both are exclusive to Walmart and ship in April 2026. Studio Series Voyager Class Thundercracker and Studio Series Deluxe Class Windcharger will be available for preorder Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. ET via Hasbro Pulse and major retailers and will release early next year.

Preorders for Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. are expected to open later this year. Classified Series No. 172 Cobra-La Pythona is a NYCC exclusive at the Hasbro Booth (No. 1012). Premium access is available now; Hasbro Pulse availability begins Nov. 3.
Transformers Hall of Fame Inductees

- Studio Series: ’86 Megatron
- Exclusive: Age of the Primes Cybertron Sideways
- Human Inductee: Ron Friedman is posthumously honored for his storytelling and screenwriting contributions that defined the original Transformers animated series and 1986 film.
G.I. Joe Hall of Fame Inductees
- 1983 Character of the Year: Destro
- 2025 Classified Figure: Crystal Ball
- Human Inductee: Larry Hama is recognized for his decades of work on G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and his lasting influence on the brand’s narrative legacy.
Hasbro also confirmed that additional product assets and preorder links will be made available on Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers following NYCC.
