CrunchLabs has promoted Rachele Harmuth to Chief Product Officer as the company accelerates its growth from subscription kits into global toy and education markets.
“I’m honored to step into this role at such an exciting time for CrunchLabs,” says Harmuth. “Our mission is to build a new generation of STEM toys that combine innovation, excitement, and hands-on learning. By harnessing [founder] Mark Rober’s unique science-driven storytelling, we’re creating experiences that don’t just entertain, they inspire kids everywhere to see themselves as builders, problem-solvers, and future innovators.”
CrunchLabs has quickly built a following through its STEM-focused kits and storytelling since its inception in 2022. The promotion comes as the company expands its reach, including a partnership with Moose Toys to bring products to major global retailers in 2026 and a new Netflix Kids and Family competition series debuting with Rober next year.
“Rachele has this rare combo of deep toy-industry expertise and unstoppable passion. That’s exactly the kind of rocket fuel we need as CrunchLabs enters toys and retail,” Rober says. “With her vision, we’re on the launchpad to explode into this next chapter.”
In her new role, Harmuth leads product strategy and innovation to position CrunchLabs as a global STEM toy brand. She brings extensive industry experience, including leadership roles across toys and educational play, and also serves as Board President of MESH Helps, a nonprofit focused on building resilience in kids through play.
CrunchLabs says the promotion underscores its mission to merge education and entertainment, developing products that inspire kids to explore problem-solving, creativity, and engineering.
“We are on a mission to reach as many brains as possible by pairing entertaining storytelling with original products,” says Jim Lee, President of CrunchLabs. “Rachele is uniquely positioned to lead our team of engineers, makers, and artists who design the toys of the future to spark curiosity and teach memorable lessons.”
