
Nintendo is continuing to bring new titles to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop. Tamagotchi fans will get to check out Tamagotchi Plaza, the newest entry in the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series, available June 27. Players will get to manage shops in Tamahiko Town, meeting hundreds of Tamagotchi and improving their shops’ reputations by serving customers. There are also local co-op and versus modes for friends to play together.
Preorders are now available for the games Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion and SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance. In the newest entry to the Daemon X Machina series, launching Sept. 5, players can become high-tech warriors, exploring open lands and seas and battling enemies in single-player or co-op modes. SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance has players helping Shinobi Joe Musashi, master of the ninja arts, exact his revenge after his town is burned to ash and his clan turned to stone. Vanquish his foes using unique combat combos, as well as his ninja arsenal, including the Katana Oborozuki, Ninjutsu arts, Kunai, and Ninpo. The game launches Aug. 29.
For users of the Nintendo Music app, the soundtrack for Yoshi’s Story is now available to listen to. Listeners can relive each chapter of Yoshi’s journey to reclaim the Super Happy Tree. Nintendo Switch Online users can also try returning themed Maximus Cups in Tetris 99, with the next rounds of the cup each having a different title’s theme. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be Round 1, the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass paid DLC will be Round 2, Pikmin 4 will be Round 3, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will be Round 4. The Maximus Cup will run from June 27-30.
