Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket fans will soon have the chance to participate in a long-standing Pokémon tradition: shiny hunting!
The upcoming themed digital booster packs will allow players to open their card packs in the app and, if they’re lucky, find their favorites in their rare, alternate color forms.

There will be new ex Starter Deck missions from March 27- April 26, where players can complete and earn a special ticket to redeem one of nine starter decks from the new booster packs. Once chosen, the 20 cards from the deck will be added to players’ digital collections.
Shiny Pokémon are normally very hard to come by, so having shiny-themed packs like Shining Revelry adds some excitement to the challenge. Pokémon included in the packs include Charizard, Lucario, Pachirisu, newcomers from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet series, and more, so there are tons to hunt for and collect.
There will also be a series of ranked matches that will debut alongside the booster packs, so players can have digital card game battles with their new cards. Additionally, players can claim a free Shiny Charizard–themed digital display board and binder to showcase their favorite cards starting April 1.
